Who we are
ROBIN is a relationship intelligence tool that helps a company see and use the professional network its own team already has. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name, email address and password hash, or the basic profile returned by Google if you sign in that way.
- Relationship data you connect. When a member of your workspace connects LinkedIn or uploads a LinkedIn export, we ingest their connections and the public professional details attached to them, such as name, headline, employer and role history.
- Workspace content. Questions you ask ROBIN and the results we return.
- Billing details. Handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Basic usage and log data needed to run and debug the service.
- Insights subscriptions. If you subscribe to ROBIN Monthly Insights, we collect your email address and confirmation status so we can send the newsletter you requested.
- Access requests. If you request early access, we collect the contact and company details you provide so we can review your request and, if approved, send a private account-setup link.
How we use it
We use this data to build your workspace's relationship graph, to answer your questions about it, to surface who on your team can make an introduction, and to operate, secure and support the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not use one customer's relationship data to answer another customer's questions.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run ROBIN. They process data on our behalf and only for the purposes above:
- Unipile — connects and syncs LinkedIn accounts and enriches profile and company records.
- Anthropic — powers the AI that interprets your questions and ranks results.
- Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
- Resend — transactional email such as verification and password resets.
- Kit — manages opt-in confirmation, delivery, and unsubscribe requests for Monthly Insights.
- Google — optional sign-in.
- Our hosting and database providers — running the application and storing your data.
We may also disclose data if we are legally required to, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case we will tell you first.
Where relationship data comes from
ROBIN only ingests connection data that a member of your workspace explicitly connects or uploads. We do not scrape LinkedIn, and we do not buy contact lists. If a teammate disconnects their account, we stop syncing new data from it.
How long we keep it
We keep workspace data for as long as your workspace is active. If you delete your workspace or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our production systems, with backups aging out shortly afterwards. We keep access-request details while we are considering access, and delete them sooner if you ask us to.
Your choices
- Disconnect a linked LinkedIn account at any time.
- Withdraw an access request or ask us to delete it at any time.
- Unsubscribe from Monthly Insights at any time using the link in any newsletter.
- Ask us for a copy of the data held about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Email us and we will honour them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your data we will tell you promptly.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, let you know directly.
